This alert applies to the following parks:
- Gold Coast Hinterland Great WalkBrisbane; Gold Coast
- Springbrook National ParkBrisbane; Gold Coast
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting planned maintenance on the walking tracks in Springbrook National Park commencing from Monday the 15th of April 2024 (weather pending).
The following tracks will be temporarily closed from 15 April to 19 July 2024.
- The entire Warringa Pool track (including the corresponding section of the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk).
During the closure the below walking tracks will remain open:
- The Purling Brook Falls circuit.
- The Twin Falls circuit.
- The Warrie circuit.
Please observe all barriers, signs, and directions from the rangers, and do not enter the closed area.
Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter the closed area.
Facilities will reopen once reconstruction work is completed by the end of July.
