Permit summary
Tourist Program - Authorises businesses to provide transport, accommodation or services for tourists within state marine parks.
Tourists visit the marine park mainly for recreation and enjoyment and may be local residents, from within Australia or international visitors.
Vessel charter – Authorises businesses to charter vessels within or into the marine park and can include transport, accommodation or services for a purpose other than an educational or tourist program. For example, for the purpose of filming. Vessel charter includes vessels for hire with or without a vessel master (skipper).

How to apply
It is recommended that you submit a pre-lodgement request prior to applying for this authority. Once you have discussed with the department, you must then register for an Online Services account, Log in and select the Parks and Forests Authorities hub. If you do not have an account, you will need to create a new customer record as an individual/sole trader or Organisation (e.g. company) and select 'Apply for a new Authority'.
