Activity description
A rehabilitation permit for spotter catcher activities is required if you intend to protect an animal whose habitat has been, or is likely to be, destroyed by human activity or a natural disaster.
Permit summary
The holder of this permit may work in conjunction with a protected plant clearing permit or a Species Management Program where the animal’s habitat is going to be destroyed under a lawful permit.
This permit allows for the animal to be removed from the site and released into the nearest supporting habitat.
No animals are permitted to be held under this authority.

How to apply
Once you register for an Online Services account, you can log in and select the Wildlife Authorities hub. If you do not have an account you will need to create a new customer record as an individual/sole trader or Organisation (e.g. company) and select 'New application'.
