As a result of flood damage Figtree Point can only be accessed from Harry’s Hut or the Boronia Walk. The Kin Kin Creek pedestrian bridge linking Elanda Point to Figtree Point on the Cooloola Wilderness Trail has been washed away.
Works are currently underway to replace the bridge and restore access between Figtree Point and Elanda Point.
Swimming across this creek is strongly discouraged due to the presence submerged objects.
Access to Mill Point and Kinaba from Elanda Point is not affected.
Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
