This alert applies to the following parks:
- Gold Coast Hinterland Great WalkBrisbane; Gold Coast
- Springbrook National ParkBrisbane; Gold Coast
As a result of severe weather damage, there are multiple fallen trees on the Warrie circuit and the Springbrook section of the GCHGW. QPWS advise visitors to allow additional time and take extra caution when walking either of these tracks.
QPWS rangers are managing the situation and have damage repair activities in progress.
Observe all signage, barriers, and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.
Park Alerts are regularly updated regarding condition on park.
