Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting a pest management control program at Lake Murphy Conservation Park from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 October, 2024 (weather permitting) as part of the conservation management program for the park.
All control activities are conducted in accordance with the pest management plan for Lake Murphy Conservation Park and help to protect native plants and wildlife from the harmful effects of introduced plants and animals.
As a result, Lake Murphy Conservation Park, including all visitor and camping areas are temporarily closed for the duration of the pest management program.
The park will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
