Burrum Coast National Park– Kinkuna section - Campground and access roads closed

Closure status: A facility or feature within the park is closed

This alert applies to the following park:

As a result of flooded roads, Kinkuna section of Burrum Coast National Park is temporarily closed until the access roads are declared safe.

QPWS Rangers are monitoring the situation and will review on Thursday 30 January. Further wet weather may impact access.

All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure.

Closure includes:

- Kinkuna bush camping area

- Palm beach road

- Southern access road

- all other access to Kinkuna

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
