This alert applies to the following park:
- Cooloola Recreation Area, Great Sandy National ParkSunshine Coast
Exposed sand cliffs and dunes along Teewah Beach, Rainbow Beach and Double Island Point are unstable and can collapse without warning.
Falling boulders and landslides are common and can cause serious injury or death.
• NEVER climb or dig into sand cliffs.
• Avoid standing, sitting or parking near the base of the sand cliffs.
• Supervise children at all times
