This alert applies to the following park:

From Friday 11 April to Sunday 30 November 2025 (dates inclusive), construction works for a new Indigenous Cultural Tourism Centre will be undertaken at Dubuji, Cape Tribulation. To allow contractors to complete this work, closures to some visitor facilities and changes to access will be necessary.

During this period all wheelchair accessible facilities and access points will be temporarily closed. Alternative accessible amenities are located opposite the Turtle Rock Café next to the playground (Wenden’s Wonderland), a short drive away.

Please see below for further details of impacted visitor facilities: 

Dubuji Boardwalk

  • The main access will be closed to the public
  • The boardwalk can be accessed via a link from Myall Beach track and completed as a return walk

Dubuji amenity block

  • Closed to the public
  • Visitors are asked to use alternative amenity block situated next to the playground (Wenden’s Wonderland) located to the North via a 200m walking track from the Dubuji car park.

Dubuji day-use area

  • Open
  • Parking spaces for buses will be reduced

Myall Beach

  • Access possible via the Dubuji day-use area
