This alert applies to the following park:
A feral animal control program involving ground shooting will be conducted at St Bees Island, South Cumberland Islands National Park from Monday 19th May to Saturday 7th June 2025 (dates inclusive). Turtle Bay campground will be closed for the duration of the operation and a maritime exclusion zone around St Bees Island extends 200m seaward of the highwater mark. Access to St Bees Island will be closed for the entirety of the operation. All Vessels and visitors must remain well clear of the area.
