This alert applies to the following park:
- K'gari, Great Sandy National ParkFraser Coast
Exposed sand dunes and sand cliffs at Eli creek are unstable and collapse without warning, causing serious injury or death.
Access to the sand cliffs is prohibited.
For your safety and to avoid injury:
- Never climb or dig into sand dunes or sand cliffs.
- Do not dig deep holes that may collapse.
- Do not jump, slide or dive into the creek.
- Supervise children within arm’s reach at all times.
