This alert applies to the following park:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting a planned maintenance program at Blackdown Tableland National Park, from 07 August 2025 and expected to be completed 27 August 2025 (weather permitting).

Tableland Road, from Munall Camprgound turn off to Gudda Gumoo (Rainbow Falls) will be closed to the public for the duration of the works. The planned works will be to improve this degraded section of road and once re-opened will increase visitor experience. 
 
The following walks and tracks will be closed during the planned works: 
- Gudda Gumoo (Rainbow Falls), and  
- 4WD loop road. 
 
The Munall Camprgound will remain open during the planned works.  
All other walking tracks will remain open. 

All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure. 

Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas. 

Refunds can be applied for via your online account at qld.gov.au/camping.

Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.

Facilities will reopen when the event is completed.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
