Dawes National Park provides habitat for many endangered and vulnerable plants and animals and is a scenic four-wheel-drive destination with Heritage-listed historic mining remnants, including chimneys built in the early 1900s. The area was initially mined for silver, then gold and copper.

Dawes National Park is located 172km north-west of Bundaberg and 59km north-east of Monto in Queensland, Australia.
