Maps:
Features: separate camp sites in open woodland on the banks of the Burdekin River. Sites are approximately 30m x 15m in size.
Location: on the northern bank of the Burdekin River, about 6km from Wairuna Road.
Access: the camping area can be reached by 4WD only. It is accessible for off-road camper trailers.
Boat access: no access provided but canoes and kayaks can be launched from the bank.
Number of sites: 3 numbered sites. A maximum of 12 people are permitted per site.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; off-road camper trailers.
Camp site surface: grass.
Facilities: none.
Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans apply). Firewood must not be collected from the national park.
Generator use: permitted at your camp site only if the noise level is less than 55dB(A) measured at a distance of 7m from the generator.
