This alert applies to the following park:
The sand vehicle access tracks within Byfield National Park have become boggy due to dry conditions and increased traffic use.
Extra caution is required when driving or towing on the sand tracks to Five Rocks and Nine Mile Beach camping areas and throughout Byfield National Park and Conservation Park.
Dry sand makes driving and towing difficult, refer to driving on sand safety guide.
Towing a camper trailer or trailer is not advisable in hot, dry conditions on Big Sandy, see Byfield area map.
