Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting planned maintenance to track at Queen Mary Falls - Main Range National Park (weather permitting)
The Queen Mary Falls Circuit steps and track are being upgraded to address erosion and stability, improve access and enhance visitor experiences. Works include the realignment of the walking track and installation of new steps, handrails and signs.
During construction:
- Queen Mary Falls Circuit track and the western side of Queen Mary Falls day use area will be temporarily closed.
- Access to the foot of the falls, Cliff lookout and Queen Mary Falls lookout will remain open via the Cliff Circuit track.
- Barbecue, picnic table and toilet facilities at Queen Mary Falls day use area will remain open.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Facilities will reopen when construction is completed.
