Queensland National Parks Booking System Update
The new Queensland National Parks Booking Service is live for bookings.

If you are making your first booking since 1 July 2024, a new customer account will be created automatically as part of your next booking. Please note your previous login credentials will no longer be valid.
Customers who have made a booking after 1 July 2024, please use your email address to reset your password to access your account.
Stay awhile on the banks of Surprise Creek and enjoy abundant birdlife at the shady Bough Shed Waterhole camping area.
Please note:
- Access to the camping area may be restricted at times—check park alerts for access conditions before leaving for your trip.
- Camping permits are required and fees apply.
- A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.
- Please camp with minimum impact and take all rubbish with you when you leave.

Park-specific conditions
Be alert and prepared for changes in weather. Even small amounts of rain on the park or in surrounding areas can cause floods at any time of year. If heavy rain or minor flooding occurs, move to higher ground.
Ensure you have read things to know before you go and staying safe.
