Grab your camera and take the short walk from the Sandstone day-use area to the base of this towering Precipice Sandstone bluff. Appreciate the geological grandeur of the towering pillar of stone, contrasted against the deep green of the woodland and clear blue of the sky.
The coloured surfaces of the sandstone have been weathered and fractured into geometric patterns, and every angle is unique. Some visitors think the scale-like surface is reminiscent of a giant reptile. See how many figures and shapes you can pick out as you explore around each side.
