Camping in Charon Point
Camping is only permitted at the designated campsites south and east of the boat ramps. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
See Charon Point Conservation Park map for camping area locations.
Park-specific conditions
Dangerous marine stingers may be present all year. Visit Beachsafe for the latest safety advice.
Camp fires are permitted in above-ground fire containers only. Bring your own fire container and remove it when you leave (including the coals). Bring your own clean, milled timber. Use a previous camp fire site, rather than starting a new one. Gas and fuel stoves are preferred and recommended.
