Camping area features: open bush camping sites near the banks of Torrens Creek.
Location: 8.5km from the park entrance.
Access: the camping area can only be reached in dry weather, and only by 4WD vehicle. Camper trailers are permitted but access is unsuitable for caravans.
Number of sites: open area without defined sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your vehicle, and camper trailers.
Camp site surface: dirt.
Facilities: none.
Open fires: permitted, except when fire prohibitions or fire bans are in place. Bring clean firewood such as untreated, mill off-cuts—collecting firewood from the park is prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: not allowed.
Essentials to bring: all food and drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags, insect repellent, sun protection, first-aid kit, communication equipment, reliable torch, vehicle spares and sufficient fuel. Read more about before you visit.
Mobile phone coverage: unavailable; satellite phones and UHF radios (local channel 29) recommended.
