Campground features: This is a pick up point for hikers on the Wet Tropics Great Walk, The site is set in open woodland close to the Herbert River and is only accessible by 4WD and walkers.
Location: 37.5km from Wallaman Falls.
Access: The campsite can be reached by 4WD and on foot only. It is not accessible for trailers, caravans, buses or motorhomes.
Number of sites: 1 open area without separately defined sites.
Camp sites are suitable for: Walk-in camping or tent camping beside your 4WD.

Facilities: None.
Open fires: Prohibited.
Generators: Not permitted.

Be crocwise
Be aware that estuarine crocodiles may be encountered in waterholes, creeks and rivers along the Great Walk. Crocodiles can be dangerous. Do not take unnecessary risks and remember to Be crocwise in croc country.
Take the opportunity to observe crocodiles from a distance. Stay well back from crocodiles or croc-slide marks. If you are approached by a crocodile, move away from the animal.
