Camping area features: bush camping under the coastal she-oaks, overlooking the estuary and Sandy Beach.

Location: behind the fore dunes, about 1km south along the beach from the Rules Beach access point.

Access: the camping area can be reached by boat or high clearance four-wheel-drive. A boat ramp is located nearby at Flat Rock. Vehicles must enter via the beach access point at the end of Rules Beach Road. The camping area is 1km south along the beach.

Number of sites: the camping area is open without separately defined sites.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your vehicle.

Camp site surfaces: sand.

Facilities: there are no facilities provided. You must be self-sufficient. Take your own drinking water and a fuel stove. All rubbish (including food scraps) must be carried out.

Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.

Generators: not permitted.

Essentials to bring: drinking water, gas or fuel stove, rubbish bags, insect repellent, and a small trowel for burying faecal waste. Read more about before you visit for further details.
