Tallebudgera Creek and David Fleay conservation parks Gold Coast

Tallebudgera Creek and its estuary contains one of the last large tracts of mangroves on the Gold Coast. The parks protect over 22ha of this habitat on either side of the creek. Mangroves provide an important sheltered nursery habitat for many animals, such as fish and crabs, and play a vital role in protecting the fragile foreshores and in nutrient recycling within our coastal environment. Tallebudgera Creek and David Fleay conservation parks are on the Gold Coast, 90km south of Brisbane. They are approximately 15min from the Gold Coast airport and 25min from Surfers Paradise.
