Great spot for a day trip. Would highly recommend taking chairs as it’s an uncomfortable place to sit without them, but the water is clean, the setting stunning and the walking trails are wonderful. Parking can be busy, but we didn’t wait long to find a spot.

Easy hike for a normal day. The lake is just beautiful and you can hear a lot of birds. We also saw some lizards and turtles. I expected the reserve for the animals were bigger. We just saw the platypus, we never see the wombats or other animals.

Hidden gem. Water is a bit iffy, but helped to cool down today as the weather was hot. Beautiful water lilies and saw a cute tortoise.
