Campground features: With a pleasant outlook and long sandy beach, the campground is large and shaded with ample opportunity to find secluded camping.

Location: Bona Bay is on the south-west side of Gloucester Island, approximately 20 km east of Bowen.

Access: The campground can be reached by boat (only). It has a good sandy beach and anchorage, and is accessible at all tides.

Number of sites: Open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 36 people.

Campsites are suitable for: walk-in camping; large groups.

Campsite surface: Sand and rubble.

Facilities: Composting toilets, picnic tables, sheltered picnic tables.

Open fires: Prohibited.

Generators: Not permitted.
