Until 21 May, the existing marine park zoning plan and existing zoning, designated area and management arrangements, continue to apply.
The geographic coordinates shown on mapping products for Great Sandy Marine Park, and listed in the Marine Parks (Great Sandy) Zoning Plan 2024 are expressed in the Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 as legally defined by the National Measurement (Recognized-Value Standard of Measurement of Position) Determination 2017.
When using these coordinates please ensure your GPS device or plotter is set to use the Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 (GDA2020) datum.
