Denham Range camping area, in Crediton State Forest, offers cool breezes and views from the mountain ridge. The camping area can be reached by walkers and high clearance 4WD vehicles. The camping area is suitable for tent camping beside your vehicle or walk-in camping. Facilities include water (treat before drinking) and composting toilets. Mobile phone coverage is poor.

Location: 38.4km south of Eungella via Eungella Dam and Cockies Creek roads.

Access: the camping area can be reached by high clearance 4WD vehicles and on foot from the Mackay Highlands Great Walk.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 24 people.

Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your vehicle; walk-in camping

Camp site surface: dirt, grass.

Facilities: water (treat before drinking), composting toilets.

Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended. Bring your own clean, milled timber.

Generator use: not allowed.
