Ubajee walkers' camp is set within blackbutt Eucalyptus pilularis forest and situated at the eastern edge of the scenic Gheerulla Creek valley.

Walkers’ camp features: Camp sites are screened by acacia and eucalypt regrowth. There are magnificent views to the north-west across the valley from the Ubajee viewpoint, 50m from the walkers’ camp.

Access: The walkers’ camp is only accessible by foot.

Number of sites: There are 12 camp sites within this walkers' camp. The recommended maximum number of people who can stay at each camp site is two. The maximum capacity of the walkers’ camping area is 24 people.

Camp sites are suitable for: Walk-in camping only.

Camp site surface: Soil and leaf litter.

Facilities: Toilet. A platform seat is provided at each camp site.

Open fires: Prohibited—fuel or gas stove only.

Generators: Prohibited.

Essentials to bring: Fuel or gas stove, adequate drinking water, water treatment tablets or purification systems, insect repellent, washing up basin, ground sheet to place under your tent to prevent wear, warm clothes and wet weather gear. Read more about planning your walk.
