Sea kayaking camping areas provide beach access at various locations on the eastern side of Hinchinbrook Island along the coast between George Point and Ramsay Bay.

Camping area features: camping areas with beach access at various locations.
Location: eastern side of Hinchinbrook Island along the coast between George Point and Ramsay Bay.
Access: the camping area is accessible by sea kayak.
Number of sites: there are nine camping areas that are open without separately defined sites. Up to 12 people are permitted at each camping area with a maximum of six people per group. Sea kayakers are not required to specify the number of nights at each camping area. Camping outside of the designated areas is not permitted.

Camp sites are suitable for: sea kayak-based camping.
Camp site surface: sand, dirt and grass.
Facilities: almost all sites have no facilities. Some have toilets and picnic tables.
Open fires: prohibited.
Generators: not permitted.
Essentials to bring: drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent and fuel stove. Read more about before you visit.
Mobile phone coverage: generally poor reception.
