Saddle up and follow the spectacular coastline from Pacific Boulevard northwards to The Oaks car park. Soak up the warm sun and fresh coastal air as the waves gently break on the sand.
As you ride, take in the magnificent vistas of sweeping coastal stretches, Fraser Island to the north and the gigantic sand cliffs and Double Island Point headland of the Cooloola Recreation Area to the south.
Look for white-bellied sea-eagles and whistling kites soaring lazily overhead. The beach is often dotted with resting seabirds and in spring you have a chance to see migrating short-tailed shearwaters.
