Camping

Camping is currently not permitted in Olkola National Park (CYPAL).

Fishing

Fishing is prohibited in all freshwater streams, lagoons and creeks of this national park (CYPAL).

Viewing wildlife

Nukakurra Lagoon and Eight Mile Creek are located along the Nukakurra Lagoon walking track and provide a great opportunity for visitors to see freshwater turtles and waterbirds. During the dry season, as water becomes scarce across the landscape, wildlife congregate around remaining waterholes to feed. Please remember that crocodiles occur in this park, so visitors must take precautions.
