The new Queensland National Parks Booking Service is live for bookings.

If you are making your first booking since 1 July 2024, a new customer account will be created automatically as part of your next booking. Please note your previous login credentials will no longer be valid.

Picnic facilities are provided beside Amamoor Creek at Amama day-use area.

Facilities include a barbecue, picnic tables and toilets.

Dogs are permitted in Amama day-use area, conditions apply.

  • Enjoy a barbecue or lay out a picnic under the pines beside Amamoor Creek, and enjoy a rainforest walk—walks begin at the trailhead across the road from the day-use area.
