Starting across the road from the Amama day-use area, this walk leads you through lush rainforest with buttressed trees, draped vines and feathery ferns.
Look up as you stroll along, keeping an eye out for small birds and their teardrop-shaped nests on the branches overhanging the creek.
Admire the cascading waterfall half-way along the walk. Look for brush turkeys in the undergrowth and goannas on tree trunks.
This walk includes a natural creek crossing—rocks can be slippery—cross with care.
