Starting from Sunderland Drive, near the bridge, stroll through wallum heathlands featuring grass trees and banksias. In a banksia woodland scattered with white-flowering wedding bush, walk quietly and you're likely to spot scarlet honeyeaters or scaly-breasted lorikeets feasting on the nectar from the banksias.
Look for eastern grey kangaroos grazing in the distance or a lace monitor basking in the afternoon sun along the track.
