Booloumba Creek 1 camping area, Conondale National Park.

Camping area features: Reasonably secluded tent, campervan and camper trailer camping on individual sites within a rainforest and open forest setting.
Location: Off the Kenilworth–Maleny Road about halfway between Kenilworth and Conondale townships. The camping area is nestled close to Booloumba Creek.
Access: The Booloumba Creek Road access is unsealed and includes creek crossings that are accessible by high-clearance four-wheel drive vehicles only towing high-clearance camper trailers, and high-clearance 4WD campervans.
Number of sites: 24 numbered sites with a set capacity for each site. Some sites are larger sized to suit bigger family groups.
Camp sites are suitable for: Tent camping. Vehicle parking spaces are provided beside the road adjoining the campsites—expect to carry your camping gear a short distance, maximum 20m. Sites 3, 8, 10 are suitable for four-wheel drive campervan, off-road camper trailer camping, and roof-top tents. Site 21 is a wheelchair friendly camp site suitable for tent camping close to your car and large enough for a six-person tent. The site is specifically designed for people with a wheelchair and other mobility needs.
Note: large groups and high-clearance off-road caravans can be accommodated at Booloumba Creek 4 camping area.
Camp site surface: Dirt, some grass, with compacted granite tent pads.

Open fires:
- Permitted within designated fireplaces provided except when fire bans or prohibitions apply. For more information, check Camp with care.
- Bring your own firewood: use clean, untreated, milled timber off-cuts. It is illegal to collect firewood from parks or forests.
- Keep campfires small.
- Fuel stoves are recommended.
- Use water to put out fires when you are not in attendance. Do not use sand—embers stay extremely hot for many hours under sand.
Generators: Not allowed.
Pets: Dogs and other domestic animals are not permitted.
Essentials to bring: Drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent. Read more about before you visit.
Mobile phone coverage: Not available. A pay phone is located on the back of the camping tag shelter.
