Booloumba Creek 3 camping area, Conondale National Park.

Camping area features: Reasonably secluded tent camping on individual sites within a rainforest setting. Close to Booloumba Creek.
Location: Off the Kenilworth–Maleny Road about half way between Kenilworth and Conondale townships. The camping area is nestled close to Booloumba Creek.
Access: The Booloumba Creek Road access is unsealed and includes creek crossings that are accessible by high clearance four-wheel drive vehicles only.
Number of sites: 14 sites with a set capacity for each site. Some sites are larger sized and suitable for several family groups camping together.
Camp sites are suitable for: Tent camping with vehicle parking spaces provided beside the road adjoining the campsites—expect to carry your camping gear a short distance.
Note: large groups and high-clearance off-road caravans can be accommodated at Booloumba Creek 4 camping area.
Camp site surface: Dirt, with compacted granite tent pads.
Facilities:
- Tank water (treat before using)
- Toilets (flushing). Do not empty chemical toilets into this facility
- Unisex accessible toilet (flushing)
- No bins. You must take your rubbish with you
- Fireplaces (individual)
- Walking tracks
Open fires:
- Permitted only within designated fireplaces provided except when fire bans or prohibitions apply. For more information, check Camp with care.
- Bring your own firewood: use clean, untreated, milled timber off-cuts. It is illegal to collect firewood from parks or forests.
- Use water to put out fires when you are not in attendance. Do not use sand—embers stay extremely hot for many hours under sand.
- Keep campfires small.
- Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: Not allowed.
Pets: Dogs and other domestic animals are not permitted.
Essentials to bring: Drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent. Read more about before you visit.
Mobile phone coverage: Not available. Nearest pay phone located at back of Booloumba Creek 1 camping area camping tag shelter.
