Camping in Paluma Range
Queensland National Parks Booking System Update
Access to the Queensland National Parks Booking System is unavailable until 9am AEST Thursday 6 February as we transition to a new booking system. No new bookings or amendments to existing bookings can be made during this closure period.
There are 2 designated camping areas with facilities in Paluma Range National Park. Advance bookings are advisable, especially during school holidays, when the camping areas are extremely popular.
Remote bush camping for experienced bushwalkers is also available.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.
Park-specific conditions
Access may be restricted during the summer wet season when creeks rise and causeways are impassable. Occasionally, in the dry season, the park will be closed because of fires.
A 'look but don't touch' approach should be taken with all animals.
Read more about staying safe and looking after the park.
