Walk through the rainforest to the top of the picturesque cascades on Birthday Creek. Birdwatchers look for golden and tooth-billed bowerbirds along the track. A short track leads to the base of the falls.
Never walk on the rocks above the falls as they are extremely slippery and serious injuries could result from a fall.
Getting there and getting around
Birthday Creek Falls walking track is in the Mount Spec section of Paluma Range National Park.
From Barrett Road, turn onto Mount Spec Road and drive 22km along Mount Spec Road, past the Paluma township, and turn right onto Lake Paluma Road. The Birthday Creek Falls car park is 7km further along Lake Paluma Road.
Wheelchair access
Birthday Creek Falls walking track is not wheelchair-accessible.

Opening hours
Birthday Creek Falls walking track is open 24 hours a day. Access may be restricted during wet weather when creeks rise in the Mount Spec area and fallen trees or landslides occur along Mount Spec Road.
