Hike-in or cycle-in to Repulse Creek camping area located along the Conway Range trail and spend a night sleeping in the rainforest. You are spoilt for choice at this camping area—camp in an open grassy area or in a secluded rainforest nook. Relax by Repulse Creek, a short walk from the camping area.
Getting there and getting around
Repulse Creek camping area is located in Conway National Park. From Airlie Beach travel southwest along Shute Habour Road for about 11km and turn left onto Brandy Creek Road. Follow this road onto Forestry Road through to the national park car park.
- From the Forestry Road car park follow the Conway Range trail for 8.1km to reach Repulse Creek camping area.

Opening hours
Repulse Creek camping area is open all year round. The camping area may be closed at time due to severe weather or management activities.
Camping area features: a grassy and sunny clearing in the rainforest or secluded rainforest nooks.
Location: 8.1km from the Forestry Road car park.

Access: the camping area can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike.
Number of sites: open grassy area or secluded rainforest nooks (first in best situated!).
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in and cycle-in camping only.
Camp site surface: dirt, grass.
Facilities: tank water (treat before drinking), picnic tables, pit toilets.
Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: not allowed.

Mobile phone coverage: none at this camping area. Occasional network coverage can be obtained at elevated points along the trail between Mount Hayward and Airlie Beach.
