Take an early morning or afternoon stroll to Coral Beach. Enjoy glimpses toward Shute Harbour and the Whitsunday Passage along the walk before being rewarded with the turquoise water framed by a coral beach and stunning views of the Whitsunday islands.

Remember, dogs and other domestic animals, overnight camping and open fires are not permitted in Conway Conservation Park.

Getting there and getting around

The Coral Beach walk is located in Conway Conservation Park approximately 9.6km southeast of Airlie Beach.

  • From Coral Beach walk trailhead follow the walking track for 1.1km to reach Coral Beach. Return the same way to came.
  • If you wish to continue on to The Beak lookout, allow extra time.

Wheelchair access

There is no wheelchair access to the Coral Beach walk.
