Stroll or ride through lowland rainforest and cross a small tidal creek next to mangroves. Remember to keep an eye out for the orange-footed scrubfowl and its monster nesting mound.
Getting there and getting around
The Coastal Fringe circuit is in Conway National Park about 7km southeast of Airlie Beach.
- The Coastal Fringe circuit begins at the trailhead located in the Conway day-use area.
- Follow the circuit trail through the lowland rainforest back to the Conway day-use area.
- If you wish to venture off onto the Hayward Gully way, please allow extra time.
Wheelchair access
There is no wheelchair access to the Coastal Fringe circuit.

The Coastal Fringe circuit is open all year round. Access maybe closed at times due to localised flooding, severe weather or park management activities.
